- Absolutely brilliant course – Caroline is brilliant and allows everyone to have complete freedom to be creative and make whatever they like. Caroline offers guidance, ideas and support for any projects you decide to take on! It’s a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere, a great way to unwind and de-stress! I would recommend it to anyone.
- Caroline’s classes are excellent, not only are they creative & fun, they are very relaxed & there is no pressure or judgement on what you make. She has a lovely calming manner & always has ideas if you are struggling with what to make. I really look forward to going & seeing how all of our creations have turned out – every class is a surprise!
- Caroline is not only a brilliant teacher but has an infectious enthusiasm for her craft, creating a fun and inspiring environment in which to learn. A great community learning experience.
- What a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours a week being creative and meeting some lovely people. Caroline is there to help at any time and lets your creativity come to the forefront and everyone produces such amazing work. Inspirational!
I really look forward to these classes. - Relaxed, enjoyable and fun. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Caroline helps and encourages everyone with their individual ceramic projects, so we are all able to develop at our own pace and follow our own interests in pottery making and glazing. Her classes are great.
- These classes are brilliant. Everyone is so friendly and Caroline is generous both with her own time and the materials she provides. I look forward to my Tuesday evenings and making my latest creation. Highly recommended.
- Caroline is a great teacher, happy to share her knowledge and ideas. She also encourages you to experiment and find your own style. Not only are the classes creative, therapeutic but also with such a great bunch of people very social. I would definitely recommend… But be warned pottery is very addictive
- Caroline is such a big inspiration and help in her classes. Anything you think of doing she will help and give you ideas of how to go about it. I really enjoy her classes, they are really relaxing, chatty and so inspirational.
- The highlight of my week! I am absolutely loving the pop up pottery studio. Caroline provides a relaxed environment and personalised guidance to allow you to develop your skills and style. We all support and encourage each other and maybe ‘borrow’ a few ideas which is great. My home is now starting to fill with lots of ‘one-offs’!
- Initially my main reason for joining pottery was to get myself out of the house as I’d been struggling with depression and anxiety. The thought of walking into a room full of strangers terrified me but I had no need to worry. Caroline was so warm and friendly I felt so at ease around her. The other members are friendly and supportive. There is no pressure to join in conversations. Caroline plays classical music and I often sit quietly and work listening to the music and the general chit chat from the others. At times I have struggled with inspiration but Caroline is always on hand to offer suggestions or will point you to a folder of potential ideas. I wouldn’t say my work is fantastic, but i believe it is improving (slowly but surely). I love the pottery classes. They have played a huge part in my recovery and I hope to continue them.
