- Caroline is fantastic! She allowed our class to work on our pieces with individual expression and I found it so relaxing and therapeutic. I can’t recommend this class enough – perfect to get into ceramics and perfect to wipe away any life stresses.
- Initially my main reason for joining pottery was to get myself out of the house as I’d been struggling with depression and anxiety. The thought of walking into a room full of strangers terrified me but I had no need to worry. Caroline was so warm and friendly I felt so at ease around her.
The other members are friendly and supportive. There is no pressure to join in conversations. Caroline plays classical music and I often sit quietly and work listening to the music and the general chit chat from the others. At times I have struggled with inspiration but Caroline is always on hand to offer suggestions or will point you to a folder of potential ideas. I wouldn’t say my work is fantastic, but i believe it is improving (slowly but surely). I love the pottery classes. They have played a huge part in my recovery and I hope to continue them.
- Caroline’s classes are a lovely way to relax on a Friday afternoon. Great value for money as everything you need is included (including coffee and biscuits!). I don’t consider myself very good, but I love the challenge – being creative with clay is very absorbing! The people are really friendly – I didn’t know anyone when I started but everyone helps each other and treats you like a friend. Caroline brings out the creative streak in us all too. A fab class!
- Caroline is a great teacher, happy to share her knowledge and ideas. She also encourages you to experiment and find your own style. Not only are the classes creative, therapeutic but also with such a great bunch of people very social. I would definitely recommend… But be warned pottery is very addictive
- Absolutely brilliant course – Caroline is brilliant and allows everyone to have complete freedom to be creative and make whatever they like. Caroline offers guidance, ideas and support for any projects you decide to take on! It’s a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere, a great way to unwind and de-stress! I would recommend it to anyone.
- I thought I would give pottery a go despite not being very arty. Caroline makes every class fun & exciting, it’s like Christmas every time we see what’s come out of the kiln. It is extremely relaxing & Caroline is always there to give a helping hand just be warned it is addictive.
- What a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours a week being creative and meeting some lovely people. Caroline is there to help at any time and lets your creativity come to the forefront and everyone produces such amazing work. Inspirational!
