TECHNICAL ISSUES AND BREAKAGES
Experienced and trained staff only will handle and fire your ceramic work. However, by the nature of ceramics there is always a risk of technical failures or breakages which can happen by the nature of the clay making process. The studio cannot be held responsible for the breakage of any pottery made within the studio.
IDENTIFYING AND COLLECTING WORKS
We make every endeavour to record and track the work that you complete during the studio sessions. All pieces made must be initialed by you to ensure there is no confusion with your pieces. We also recommend that you photograph your item at the made and the glazed stage to aid the studio with identification of your pieces.
COLLECTIONS: Please note, The collection of pottery pieces made in the clay studio must be made during CLAY STUDIO opening times. It might be possible for you to collect at another time but this must be done via a pre-arranged appointment.
We recommend you collect your finished work as soon as possible after your course to help keep our storage area clear therefore avoiding damage. If finished ceramic work is not collected within 3 months of the end of the course we will sadly have to dispose of it.
